Dodd Group, as an integrated part of Wates Living Space's successful bid team for the multi-million pound Responsive Repairs & Maintenance contract for Birmingham City Council, will be carrying out a full range of heating and electrical services within 31,000 properties in Birmingham from this today.

As a local company, this contract presents us with a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference: the value and duration mean that we can make a serious investment into the local economy in terms of both jobs and training for apprentices.

Prior to the contract starting on 01 April,  the Property Care team have worked very closely with Wates Living Space to undertake an intense mobilisation period. Supported by Mary-Anne Clayton, Andrew Birks and Stephan Cripps staff, IT systems and vehicles were made ready so that Birmingham residents enjoyed a smooth transition into the new contract.
