Dodd Group Secures Prestigious Southampton Project
In line with its commitment to supporting local business, Galliford Try has awarded Dodd Group’s Southampton team the Mechanical and Electrical services fit out contract at the prestigious new Southampton arts complex.
Commencing this autumn and due for completion in October 2016, this exciting project comprises of Auditoria, Theatres, Dance Studio’s, Art Gallery and general teaching and exhibition spaces. This 6,000 sq m new build project on the former Tyrell and Green site will form part of the new cultural quarter in Grosvenor Square Southampton which is located opposite the 02 Guildhall.
Dodd Group, mirroring Galliford Try’s local sustainability commitment, will be looking for local specialist sub-contractors to join their supply chain on this exciting project. We have already taken on our first apprentice Corin Atkinson via our local partner Totton College as we are passionate about developing future skills ”
