The project commenced in April 2016 and was completed April 2017. The project is part of the 12 new build projects under North West 4 Priority School batch, which Morgan Sindall secured with the preconstruction support from Dodd Group. The project was new build construction and required Dodd Group to manage the existing school decant including IT infrastructure to minimise disruption.
The project included construction of a temporary school accommodation prior to the part demolition of the existing school.
The 10,300sqm secondary school includes a naturally ventilated design installation in all the classrooms The entire mechanical and electrical services comply with the new facilities output specification, including an M&T metering strategy
