Pre-design meetings considered solutions for “off-grid” rural Sunbarn Walk where 90% of the occupants were considered to be in “fuel poverty”, and a retrofit full wet system (via radiators) and Bi-Valent Air Source Heat Pump & Solar Thermal installation was agreed. Dodd Group’s experienced in-house staff designed, installed and commissioned the systems and carried out the roofing works.

The project was tenanted throughout the installation. Contract specific Risk Assessment Method Statements were created to ensure safe working practices.

Upon completion, all commissioning documents and O&M manuals were handed to the client and the Solar Thermal Installations and Air Source Heat Pumps registered with MCS.

Residents utilities costs were reduced by over 33%.
