Dodd Group was appointed as the M+E contractor on behalf of the main contractor Faithdean PLC to redevelop the current Matalan store over 3 floors within the Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton.

The works consisted of M+E services and upgrades to sprinkler systems.

The works package value was £300k, which also included the fit-out of the new Peacocks and Poundland stores once the first stage of works were completed.

Additional works were also contracted to Dodd Group for the JRC Global Buffet enabling works.

The fast track first phase was 28 weeks, fit-out was a further 15 weeks.
