The project comprised a new build college. Heath Park Business and Enterprise College comprises of various teaching spaces, IT areas, dining/communal areas, auditorium, science rooms and future extension of a Sports Hall.

The works included the full installation and provision of all electrical distribution, small Power, General and feature lighting &  fully integrated lighting control  system, data networks, fire alarms and security services. The mechanical systems included the provision of new heating systems which consisted of a VT radiator circuit , CT fan convector/Over door heater circuit, CT AHU circuit & a primary DHWS circuit. The boilers/CHP unit are located in the energy centre (installed by others). Domestic services were provided throughout with a cold water storage tank & cold water booster set being installed in the Energy Centre plant room. Mechanical  ventilation was installed in the building by the means of Heat Recovery Units, extract fans & Air Handling Units which served the areas through ceiling grilles & diffusers. Air Conditioning  systems were also installed, primarily in the server & hub rooms. Sprinkler installations to BS EN 1285: 2015 as a property protection system. The building also has full sprinkler protection with the tank & pump house located at the energy centre. Science labs have had gas safe systems fitted with the control panels being positioned at the teachers desk. A  Building Management System (controls) has been provided  which includes zone control valves of the heating & all main plant items can be viewed & have parameters adjusted at the front end computer.

A key element to this project was the setting out and coordination of all  M&E Services within the teaching rooms/ spaces with FFE equipment and AV equipment for functionality for the end user.
