Dodd Group was appointed as a traditional contractor to deliver the £1million MEP package for the new Aquatic Centre at Headlands Hotel. Dodd Group worked in collaboration with Hulley & Kirkwood Plymouth who were the consultant who designed the MEP services systems, to deliver this first class facility.

The Aquatic centre was a large £15million investment from the Hotel owners to provide outstanding aquatic and spa facilities, this includes new pools, internal & external Jacuzzis, relaxation pools, relaxation zones, varied hot sauna experiences and an outstanding café with new catering facilities.

Dodd Group delivered all the MEP systems to serve the new development which included pool plant interface, specialist scene/mood setting lighting, underfloor heating systems throughout, full commercial kitchen installation, new gas fired boilers with CHP for primary heat generation for the LTHW and domestic hot water systems, specialist pool ventilation systems and aesthetically impressive external lighting scheme.
