Anglian Water Operational Safety Enhancements
Anglian Water's internal site risk assessments had identified that existing control measures could be improved on some sites, e.g.
•Replacing traditional safety chains on dry well access stairways with modern safety gate systems
• Fixing-down existing grid floor panels.
• Installing new locking bars on well/chamber covers.
• Provision of handrails around wells and chambers.
Dodd Group (Eastern) Ltd were asked to survey, quote and implement remedial works. A key requirement was to ensure that the new systems caused minimal interference with operational tasks.
