Anglian Water Operational Safety Enhancements
Anglian Water's internal site risk assessments had identified that existing control measures could be improved on some sites, e.g.
-Replacing traditional safety chains on dry well access stairways with modern safety gate systems
- Fixing-down existing grid floor panels.
- Installing new locking bars on well/chamber covers.
- Provision of handrails around wells and chambers.
Dodd Group (Eastern) Ltd were asked to survey, quote and implement remedial works. A key requirement was to ensure that the new systems caused minimal interference with operational tasks.
