Dodd Group worked under a partnering agreement with Kier Construction to deliver 11 new fire stations within the North and South Staffordshire areas.
Working with Kier Construction's design team, Dodd Group provided support throughout the design process with cost and programming advice.
The projects ran over 2 phases with 5 fire stations being delivered for January 2015 and the remaining six being completed for April 2016. During construction, a number of the fire stations remained open and in full service adjacent to the new build schemes making ingress and egress a major consideration during construction.
All schemes benefitted from the latest technology alongside standard requirements for the Fire Service, such as

- LED lighting
- Solar PV
- voltage optimisation
- Fire turn out systems
- Sprinklers
- BMS interlinked for enhanced building management
