Dodd Group was appointed to provide the MEP installations to the new Sowenna Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unit at Bodmin Hospital. This project was very much welcomed in the region as it is the first CAMHS facility in the county of Cornwall

The Electrical and Piped MEP services were originally designed to route via the ceiling voids of the facility which would potentially cause both installation and more importantly operational difficulties following completion. The systems were thus reworked to route these services within the roof void with the Ventilation installation to overcome these issues.

MVHR Ventilation Systems

Sprinkler Installation

Mains Distribution and Sub Distribution

Lighting & Emergency Lighting Installation

Fire Alarm

Extensive Access Control Installation

Nurse Call

Photo Voltaic Installation

Standby Generator

Anti-ligature products were used throughout the building for the safety and wellbeing of the occupants
